Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani)
Butter Chicken is a classic Indian dish known for its rich, creamy tomato sauce and tender marinated chicken. This flavorful dish is perfect for serving with naan or rice, making it a favorite at any Indian meal.

Ingredients
- - 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- - 1 cup plain yogurt
- - 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- - 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- - 1 tablespoon garam masala
- - 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- - Salt to taste
- - 3 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- 1In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Add chicken cubes and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
- 2Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
